The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it is alarmed concerning the large quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services level produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough SRD for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
